Charlie began playing guitar at age 6 and was thereafter classically trained for four years by a resident instructor at the University of Maryland. By 10, Charlie had become enamored with the unique style and characteristics of Tony Iommi. From that point on, Charlie has logged thousands of hours over the last 26 years honing the works of this guitar god. As a result, many of the original projects Charlie remain involved in are deeply influenced in this regard. Charlie's Gear & Amplification consist of the Limited Edition Tony Iommi Signature Gibson SG Standard (ebony) outfitted with the Tony Iommi Signature Gibson pickup (bridge position), Patrick Eggle Tony Iommi Artist (ebony with mother of pearl cross inlays) outfitted with Seymour Duncan hot rail pickups wound exclusively for Tony Iommi, Laney GH100 TI Tony Iommi Signature 100 watt amplifier, Laney GS412LA speaker cabinet, Cry Baby Wah, Boss Digital Delay. The Laney/Gibson combination captures the punchy mid's and clarity best exemplified on the "Reunion" CD. In fact, it is the combination used by Tony Iommi on Reunion, Ozzfest Tours and Iommi CD!
Dee
found his love for music at the age of nine after seeing Kiss on an ABC
special. He soon discovered a natural ability to sing and began
honing his talent at age 12, both in garage bands and in his school choir
(where his instructor dubbed him "The Human Air Raid Siren,"
after Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson). His ability to perform the
works of such vocal giants as Rob Halford and the aforementioned Dickinson
quickly earned him praise as one of his area's premiere frontmen.
Dee is also an accomplished bassist and songwriter, having performed on
numerous recordings with various acts. Dee's personal site is DeeBrianC.com.
Steve
was originally a drummer with a real flair for the Bill Ward style. As
fate would have it, however, his parents would have none of the racket.
Steve quickly switched to bass at age 12 and became deeply influenced by
the aggressive style and of Geezer Butler. Naturally, Steve cites Geezer
as his main influence during his development as a bassist.
Like the proverbial prodigal son, Chris returned to the fold in late 2007. A heavy hitter, Chris was weaned on Sabbath, and considers Bill Ward one of his primary influences. |
